Remember those pre-teen Xanga days where you’d write “shout-outs” for friends everyday regardless of the non-occasion? Well that was stupid. However, unlike the average Wednesday, today is the day two of my close friend’s mothers pushed these little rascals out of their uteruses. In other words…Happy Birthday Alessio De Ambroggi and Stephanie Chan Ga Lam!
Alessio: My favorite ladyboy and my soulmate. I’ve only known you a year and look at us now! We’ve managed to experience SO much together in this short period of time… Despite not knowing you long, I can safely say that you are one of my closest friends who accepts every one of my flaws :) Not to mention, someone who makes me feel like my bitchy comments are valid and worthy of being a topic of conversation. I will always be there to wash the soap out of your eyes. My dead sibling, my future business partner and my bestfriend, I love you!
Memories: Falling on my face in Pop Stars, Girly night in with Shervin, Meeting outside of Top Shop which led to our Abercrombie careers, Thai dancing, Running in heels trying to look for a cash point whilst carrying your backpack, Changing you and putting you into bed, Edison Chen’s girlfriend, Dancing baby on youtube, Acid rain, Turnip Cake, Pissing on the streets and last but not least…JO MALONE!
Stephanie: Although we may have grown apart over the past year, you will always be my first CIS bestfriend and the first person I have influenced negatively (while you taught me how to draw Sailor Moon, I would share with you…my expertise in drawing boobs and various genitalia). I often remind myself that we’re all grown up now and that, you’re not only older than me but much more intelligent…You know I don’t ever mean to patronize you and be all protective but it’s all out of habit. At the end of the day, I love you and want only the best for you :) I miss you everyday!
Memories: Kissing you with lipstick on, You kissing my dad goodnight, Balloons down our tops with Sarah, Army crawl on the floor, Cooking in a tent with your cousin, Cross the river with Lok and Adrian at your grandmas, Home lunch…SCHOOL LUNCH and speed-eating competitions whenever we had spaghetti, Improvising with a cardboard box, Grub, Our 3-way conversations with Shummie, Game of Life, Cybering on ICQ (LOL), Abusing you with a skipping rope, Beating Henry up when he made you cry, Going over to yours and skipping our Chinese test together…There is really too much to name and you get my point…I hope we make many more memories in the future!
